Before the Dark: A Carpathian Prequel This is the web series that takes place before Dark Prince. It tells about Vladimer Dubrinsky and his visions, why he made the decisions that he did, and how they ultimately effected the Carpathian people. The webisodes were published one per month, leading up to the release of Dark Blood.

Perhaps the best thing about the movie is its title "Before the Dark." But really it needed a better writer and director and/or cast it's difficult to tell. Finally, there is a cute last shot of a building with a quite recognizable name of it for those that manage to get through the movie.
